Liverpool is making a transfer worth 35 million euros to strengthen its squad after winning the Premier League. The English giant has reached an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen for the transfer of Jeremie Frimpong. Liverpool will pay the 24-year-old player's release clause of 35 million euros.
Liverpool, who secured the championship weeks in advance in the Premier League, is filling the void left by Trent Alexander-Arnold, who announced he would be leaving the team.
AGREEMENT REACHED
According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool is adding 24-year-old Dutch star Jeremie Frimpong, who plays for Bayer Leverkusen, to their squad. It is reported that both parties have reached an agreement, and health checks for Frimpong are being planned, with the star player set to sign a 5-year contract with Liverpool.
35 MILLION EUROS
The English club will pay the 35 million euro release clause in Frimpong's contract to the Bundesliga team Bayer Leverkusen for this transfer.

This season, Frimpong has played in 48 matches for Bayer Leverkusen, scoring 5 goals and providing 12 assists. The star player's market value is reported to be 50 million euros.
