Due to the negative outcome of her visa application, Russian player Arina Fedorovtseva of the Fenerbahçe Medicana Women's Volleyball Team will not be able to play in the match against the Polish team PGE Budowlani scheduled for tomorrow in the CEV Zeren Group Women's Champions League.
''APPLICATION HAS RESULTED NEGATIVELY''
In a statement regarding the situation of the 21-year-old volleyball player from the yellow-navy blue club, the following was noted:
"Due to the restrictions imposed by Poland on Russian citizens, our athlete's travel Schengen visa application was made through another European country; this application, which was completed shortly before the match date, has resulted negatively. Arina Fedorovtseva's current visa is set to expire at the end of the year, and due to the official holidays coinciding with Christmas and New Year's, it has not been possible to finalize a new visa application through an alternative country. Therefore, our athlete will not be able to participate in the mentioned match. As a result of this development, our athlete Arina Fedorovtseva will not be with our team in tomorrow's match."
