Speaking at a mass opening ceremony in Aydın, President Erdoğan harshly criticized CHP leader Özgür Özel, who recently visited Hatay. Erdoğan said, "Somehow he ended up in Hatay. After 3 years, he comes out and says, 'We will not leave the earthquake zone alone.' What were you doing, Mr. Özgür, while 455 thousand houses were being built? You haven't been anywhere in this process for 3 years. Did you just wake up?"

President Erdoğan - Özlem Çerçioğlu "THEY ARE TRYING TO INCITE RETIREES AGAINST US" Continuing his remarks, Erdoğan criticized the opposition through retirees, saying, "Now they are doing the same thing through our retirees; they are trying to incite them against us. Employees are protesting in front of municipalities, while they are vacationing on tropical islands. If you really care about the rights of workers, why don't you pay your employees' salaries? I have said this many times before; look, we speak with our works, we speak with what we have done. We speak with the services and projects we have brought to our country. If you can, speak with your works and services as well," he said.
