According to a statement made on the social media account of the Ministry of National Defense (MSB), the "5th International Best Sniper Team" was held at the Mountain Commando School and Training Center Command in Isparta.
A LARGE NUMBER OF COUNTRIES PARTICIPATED
Sniper teams from Azerbaijan, Albania, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Bulgaria, Georgia, Italy, Qatar, Kosovo, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Libya, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia participated in the competition alongside Turkey.
Observers from the United Kingdom, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, and Turkmenistan followed the competition.
THE TOP THREE PLACES BELONG TO THE TURKISH SOLDIERS
While 26 sniper teams participated in the competition, a total of 8 national sniper teams represented Turkey, with 2 teams from the Land Forces Command, 2 from the Naval Forces Command, 2 from the Special Forces Command, and 2 from the Gendarmerie General Command.
As a result of the competition, the team from the Land Forces Command came in first, the other team from the Land Forces Command came in second, and the team from the General Staff's Special Forces Command came in third.
The sniper teams from the participating countries were awarded medals based on the points they received. Turkey, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Uzbekistan, and Italy won gold medals, Bulgaria, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, and Bahrain won silver medals, while Azerbaijan, Qatar, and Albania won bronze medals.
