A tradesman in Gaziantep threw a bag containing 110,000 TL into the trash instead of garbage. When he opened the bag at the bank where he went to deposit his money, he was shocked. The municipal teams that rushed to help him found the bag full of money among tons of garbage and returned it to him. The tradesman, who received his money intact, thanked the Şehitkamil Municipality teams.
Hüseyin Ertürk, who trades in the Şehitkamil district of Gaziantep, left his house with a bag containing 110,000 TL in one hand and trash in the other, and threw the bag full of money into the trash instead of the garbage.
HE EXPERIENCED THE SHOCK OF HIS LIFE WHEN HE OPENED THE BAG
Not realizing the situation, Hüseyin Ertürk experienced the shock of his life when he opened the bag at the bank where he went to deposit the money. Seeing trash instead of money in the bag, Ertürk immediately returned to the area where he had thrown the bag, but was shocked again to see that the trash had already been collected.

Subsequently, the situation was reported to the Şehitkamil Municipality teams through the neighborhood muhtar. The teams from the Cleaning Affairs Directorate, who immediately took action, found the bag containing 110,000 TL while searching the area where the trash had been collected. The found money was returned intact to its owner, Hüseyin Ertürk. Ertürk, who stated that he had important payments to make and was very upset because of this, thanked the municipal teams for allowing him to breathe easily by finding the money.

Stating that he threw the bag full of money into the trash can instead of the trash, and realized the situation at the bank, tradesman Hüseyin Ertürk said, "I left home early in the morning. I had a trash bag and a bag full of money in my hand. In that moment of distraction, I threw the bag full of money into the trash instead of the trash. When I went to the bank to deposit the money and opened the bag, I found trash inside. I immediately took a taxi and came back to the place where I threw the trash and looked into the trash can, but the municipal teams had collected the trash. I immediately went to the muhtar and we reported the situation to the municipality. The teams from the municipality's Cleaning Affairs Directorate mobilized all their resources and found our bag full of money. I had 110,000 TL in the bag. I thank all the municipal teams who found my money very much," he said.

Erol Karakoyunlu, the Director of Cleaning Affairs of Şehitkamil Municipality, stated that they returned the lost money to its owner intact, saying, "Our citizen accidentally threw a bag full of money into the trash instead of trash. When the situation was reported to us, we immediately identified the vehicle and took action. After emptying the garbage truck, we found the bag full of money after a search that lasted about 2 hours and returned it to its owner. Our citizen was in shock when he lost his money, but he experienced great happiness when we found and returned the money.
