In Adana, a nurse who is in the process of divorce stated, "My husband's brother and nephew forcibly entered my house with a locksmith, my husband rented my house." The husband, who is the target of the allegations, defended himself by saying, "My wife cheated on me, I presented the adultery videos to the court. There was no forced entry, I rented that house to my nephew with a power of attorney."
Mutual serious accusations arose between nurse A.Y., whose 26-year marriage is at the stage of divorce, and her husband Sadık Yıldırım; both parties accused each other of assault, adultery, and threats in court.
NURSE HAD BEEN IN THE NEWS WITH KIDNAPPING AND ASSAULT ALLEGATIONS
Nurse A.Y. (50) and her husband Sadık Yıldırım (60) got married 26 years ago and have one child. However, it is claimed that the couple has been experiencing constant incompatibility for the last 3 years. Most recently, Sadık Yıldırım applied to the court for divorce in August. During this process, A.Y. claimed that her husband Sadık Yıldırım's sister and niece came to their home in the Kurttepe neighborhood of the central Çukurova district several times with a locksmith, opened the door, and took out their belongings. Furthermore, A.Y. also alleged that she was assaulted and kidnapped by her husband during this process. A.Y.'s claims were reported under the headline "Her husband did not leave her alone while she was trying to get a divorce."
"MY WIFE CHEATED ON ME, I SUBMITTED THE VIDEO TO THE COURT"
Speaking to İHA, Sadık Yıldırım claimed that his wife cheated on him and stated that he submitted the video recording to the court. Yıldırım said, "This woman got a restraining order against me for 1 month. When I came home in August, I witnessed my wife committing adultery in our house. I recorded a video and submitted it to the court. If I wanted, I could have killed both of them there, but they are not worth ending my life over," he said.
"I RENTED THE HOUSE TO MY NIECE FOR A NOMINAL AMOUNT"
Sadık Yıldırım also explained that he rented the house to his niece with the power of attorney he received from his wife, saying, "My niece lives separately from her husband. I rented it to my niece for a nominal amount. Sometimes I don't even take money. The house was under my wife's name, and she had given me power of attorney, so I rented it based on that. My niece was a tenant in that house. My wife went to the prosecutor's office to file a complaint, but a decision was made stating 'there is no ground for prosecution.'
"I WANT TO DIVORCE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE"
Yıldırım stated that he wanted to divorce as soon as possible and also wanted to take back the properties that were under his wife's name, saying, "I can't live with this woman anyway. I cannot accept this immorality. I want to divorce as soon as possible. I hope to recover my properties. Right now, everything I have is under her name, and she is using it very well. I do not accept any of the allegations against me. Everything this woman says is a lie," he said.
The final word between the parties is expected to be spoken by the court on March 26.
