In the morning hours in Beykoz, two private public buses affiliated with İETT collided head-on. Seven people were injured in the accident. While the injured were taken to the hospital, Çayır Street was closed to traffic for a while due to the accident.
According to information obtained around 09:00 on Çayır Street in the Yalıköy neighborhood of Beykoz district in Istanbul; a private public bus belonging to İETT, driven by E.Ö., collided head-on with a private public bus driven by İ.E.
7 PEOPLE INJURED
Following the collision, fire, police, health, and UMKE teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notification of bystanders. In the accident, one of the drivers and 6 passengers on the bus were slightly injured. The first interventions for the injured were carried out by health teams at the scene. The injured were taken to the hospital by ambulance.
TRAFFIC CONGESTION OCCURRED
Due to the accident, Çayır Street was closed to traffic for a while, causing a temporary vehicle congestion in the area. After the buses were removed, traffic was restored in a controlled manner. Police teams have launched an investigation into the accident.
