THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY DEVICES ARE USED
Patients who decide to have zirconium crowns have their jaw and dental structure scanned with the help of a camera. Personalized designs are made based on the visuals transferred to a digital environment. The visuals, once the design phase is completed, are processed onto zirconium blocks. The crowns extracted from the blocks gain durability in special ovens. The zirconium crowns, which have completed the finishing phase, are made ready for use. The cost of these crowns is 95 TL for retired citizens and 188 TL for working individuals.
FIRST TIME IN SIVAS WITH MINISTRY APPROVAL
Providing information about zirconium crowns, Chief Physician Dentist Fuat Şen stated, "The more aesthetic and stronger zirconium porcelain is now being produced digitally in our hospital, rather than being procured through service tenders as we did before. In today's dental treatments, both aesthetics and durability are prominent. The best solution that meets these needs is zirconium teeth. Zirconium restorations prepared using digital systems in modern laboratories provide results that are closest to a natural appearance while ensuring long-lasting use. This opportunity has been realized for the first time in Sivas Oral and Dental Health Hospital with ministry approval, and the laboratory, which was once considered a dream, has become a center followed by all of Turkey." he said.
"WE HAVE MADE IT EASILY ACCESSIBLE"
Stating that 1,500 zirconium crowns were made in the hospital last month, generating an income of 2 million TL for the public budget, Chief Physician Fuat Şen said, "We will both increase this number and prepare them professionally. The high contribution fees paid by citizens for this service, which was previously done through tenders, created high costs because it was not done in state hospitals. Thanks to this laboratory, the contribution fees paid will be significantly reduced. We are contributing to savings measures, and this application, which costs between 7,500 - 8,000 TL in the market, will be done for retirees at 95 TL and for our employees at around 188 TL. We take measurements from the mouth and transfer them to computers in digital environments. Then we create our designed zirconium blocks with a milling system. We finalize the resulting prostheses by baking them in ovens. After the coloring process, we deliver them to our patients within 48 hours. We have made zirconium dental technology easily accessible for healthier, more natural, and aesthetic teeth. We are also providing this service to citizens coming from abroad. May it be beneficial for all citizens," he concluded.
