The Competition Authority has launched an investigation into the Carex cosmetics group, known by the brand Celenes by Sweden. As part of the investigation, the economic integrity formed by Carex Herbal Products and Cosmetics Industry Trade Inc., Farma Plus Pharmaceutical Band Health and Cosmetic Products Industry Trade Ltd. Co., and Digital Farma Pharmaceutical Industry and Trade Ltd. Co. is being examined.
PRICE FIXING ALLEGATION
The Competition Board will investigate whether the mentioned economic integrity determines the resale prices of resellers and restricts sales made over the internet. It was stated that the examination focuses on whether Article 4 of the Law No. 4054 on the Protection of Competition has been violated.
PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION COMPLETED
With the decision of the Board dated November 6, 2025, the preliminary investigation initiated was completed on December 18, 2025. Based on the findings being serious and sufficient, it was decided to open an official investigation against the relevant companies.
