Displaying a superior performance against her opponent, Çakıroğlu won the match 5-0, securing her place in the quarter-finals. Buse Naz Çakıroğlu will face Uzbekistan's Feruza Kazakova in the semi-finals on Saturday.

In the afternoon session, Büşra Işıldar, who entered the ring in the quarter-finals at 75 kg, became the first athlete to guarantee a medal by defeating English Mary-Kate Smith 5-0. Işıldar will face Australian Sue Emma Greentree in the semi-finals on Saturday. Şeyma Düztaş, competing in the +80 kg category, also secured her place in the semi-finals by knocking out Saudi Arabian Noof Alyousef. Düztaş will compete against Nupur Nupur from India in the semi-finals on Saturday.
