Philadelphia Sheriff challenged ICE Police: They are a fake law enforcement agency.

Philadelphia Sheriff Rochelle Ballard harshly criticized ICE teams following the shooting death of a 37-year-old woman in Minneapolis. In her statement, Ballard referred to ICE agents who conceal their identities as a "fake law enforcement" and said, "No law enforcement officer wears a mask. If you commit a crime here, the criminal in the White House won't be able to save you from going to jail."

Recently in the United States, the immigrant policies of the Donald Trump administration and the violence perpetrated by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) teams have led to protests in many cities, with Ballard's remarks standing out among the reactions. Throughout his speech, Ballard repeatedly mentioned the name Renee Good, stating that what happened was unacceptable.

"NO LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER WEARS A MASK"

In his speech, Ballard stated: "This shouldn't have happened, but here we are today. Know this, real law enforcement… The new army that Trump likely established to attack U.S. citizens is not fake ICE. Did you hear what I said? No law enforcement officer wears a mask. None, none."

"REAL LAW ENFORCEMENT DOES NOT FIRE AT MOVING VEHICLES"

Ballard, expressing support for the arrest of ICE officers who conceal their identities with masks, thanked Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner, saying, "I thank God for our District Attorney Larry Krasner, who says he will put those who come to our communities to commit crimes while wearing masks in jail. And I say clearly; if you do this here, you will be arrested."

Ballard also used strong language in his assessment of the moment Renee Good was shot:

"Real law enforcement officers do not fire at moving vehicles. I'm not saying 'she was fleeing' because she wasn't. She was pulling over. Real law enforcement officers do not stop in front of moving vehicles to provoke an illegal act."

"THEY ARE FAKE LAW ENFORCEMENT"

Emphasizing that they stand with everyone who opposes ICE teams, Ballard stated that he does not see ICE officers as "law enforcement," saying:

"I don't call them law enforcement at all. I call them fake, phony, wannabe law enforcement; because what they do is not only against the law but also against morality."

USED "CRIMINAL IN THE WHITE HOUSE" INSTEAD OF TRUMP

Ballard, stating that they would act together with Prosecutor Krasner, concluded his warning to ICE officers with the following words:

"If you come to this city to commit crimes, you will not be able to hide. No one will take you away from here. The criminal in the White House cannot save you from going to jail."

WHAT HAPPENED?

In Minneapolis, Minnesota, ICE police shot and killed a U.S. citizen woman in her vehicle during operations targeting immigrants.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, in her initial statement, claimed that a woman "tried to run over ICE officers and hit them with her vehicle," stating, "One of our officers acted quickly and defensively, firing to protect himself and those around him."

A video shared on social media showed nearby citizens attempting to record the ICE police operations with their cell phones, where the driver woman was seen in the middle of the road, watching the events from inside her vehicle while a police officer attempted to forcibly open the car door.

Subsequently, as the driver woman tried to escape by turning the steering wheel, another ICE officer approaching the front of the vehicle drew his weapon and fired three shots at close range.
