President Erdoğan made a statement to reporters upon his return from the Netherlands. He used striking expressions regarding the corruption operation in municipalities governed by the CHP, emphasizing the evidence presented by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. He stated, "All the documents are out in the open. Unfortunately, the situation is disastrous not only in Istanbul but also in other provinces."

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan answered journalists' questions on the plane returning from the NATO Heads of State and Government Summit in The Hague, Netherlands.

Referring to Muharrem İnce's return to the party and the discussions within the CHP, Erdoğan stated, "Unfortunately, the CHP is in a state of paralysis today. Now you see some saying, 'I am returning after 4 years.' Others are asking, 'Who might come?' They have no words left to say about Turkey's fundamental issues, and they have turned a huge party into a captive of the ambitions of a handful of 'opportunists.' With so many events happening around us, have you seen an approach from the CHP that says, 'We think this way too'? They cannot bring forth any suggestions because they have no ideas. They think politics is only about their shallow pools. They are trying to float a cheese ship with words, unaware of the ocean."

"THE SITUATION IS DISASTROUS IN OTHER CITIES AS WELL"

Referring to the corruption operations against CHP municipalities, Erdoğan said, "They are too busy fighting to find time to serve. The municipalities they manage have all raised the bankruptcy flag. The situations are not good at all. Corruption, irregularities, extortion, and bribery are rampant. The evidence and documents recently presented by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office are all out in the open. Unfortunately, the situation is disastrous not only in Istanbul but also in other cities. It is impossible not to feel alarmed and ashamed in the face of what they have done to a person they have buttoned up to for 13 years. Dear friends, what do they say? In Byzantium, the game never ends, and in the CHP, the fight never ends."
