LEON JAKIROVIC HAS TRANSFERRED TO INTER
Leon Jakirovic, who developed in the Dinamo Zagreb youth system, has transferred to the Inter U23 team. The young player signed a contract with Inter until 2030.
'I AM VERY HAPPY AND EXCITED'
Speaking after the transfer, Jakirovic said, "I am very happy; I am excited to have transferred to Inter. I just turned 18. Inter is the biggest step I have taken in my career so far. I think it will be amazing. I am a center-back who loves to play with the ball, and I try to make passes that break lines. Everyone knows that Italian center-backs are the best in the world. I can develop myself a lot in defense here. The center-back who impressed me the most was Bastoni from Inter. Now I am with him."
'MY DAD TAUGHT ME EVERYTHING'
In response to a question about his father Sergej Jakirovic, Leon stated, "My dad taught me everything; he tried to bring out the best in me."
