Sixteen-year-old Hatice Kaya, who had not been heard from by her relatives for 24 hours in Adana, was found by teams in a cave where she had taken shelter to protect herself from the cold.
A 16-year-old girl who went missing in the Kozan district of Adana was found alive after 24 hours of search efforts. It was learned that the girl spent the night in a cave-like structure and was taken to the hospital by ambulance for health checks.
A search operation was initiated upon the notification of relatives who could not hear from 16-year-old Hatice Kaya, who left her home in the Velicanlı neighborhood of Kozan yesterday afternoon. The search efforts, coordinated by the Kozan District Gendarmerie Command, involved Gendarmerie Search and Rescue (JAK) teams and Gendarmerie Special Operations (JÖH) units.
FOUND IN A CAVE
Drones, thermal drones, and tracking dogs were also used in the area. During the search conducted by the teams in the Sin Monastery area, the child was found in a cave-like structure where she had entered to protect herself from the cold.
HEALTH STATUS GOOD
The girl, who was found alive, was taken by ambulance to Kozan State Hospital by health teams for a health check. It was learned that Kaya's health condition is good.
