A decision was made regarding I.A., a nurse working in a public hospital who was detained for participating in the "hair braiding" movement initiated by the DEM Party in response to the cutting of the hair of a woman who is a member of the YPG terrorist organization in Syria. The nurse I.A. was released under judicial control and stated in her testimony, "I regret it. I also have pro-state posts. I am Zaza, I do not know Kurdish, and I do not know the song lyrics."

AN INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED, DETAINED
I.A., who works as a nurse in a public hospital in Kocaeli, shared a video on her social media account where she braided her hair while participating in the hair braiding movement initiated by the DEM Party, accompanied by a Kurdish song.
The Kocaeli Provincial Health Directorate stated in a statement regarding the issue that the nurse acted contrary to the "Civil Servants Law" and the "Ethical Principles of Public Officials," and that a necessary judicial and administrative investigation has been initiated against her. Nurse I.A. was detained at her brother's house in Istanbul and was taken to the Kocaeli Police Department for processing.
RELEASED UNDER JUDICIAL CONTROL CONDITIONS
After her processing at the police station, nurse I.A. was referred to the Kocaeli Courthouse and was brought to court by the prosecutor with a request for arrest. The court decided to impose a travel ban on the suspect and released her under judicial control conditions.
