In Erzurum, a boy named Emir Ahmet Ü, who is 11 years old, had cologne poured on his left leg and was set on fire by his friend. The child, engulfed in flames, was intervened by his friend's uncle, who threw a bucket of water on him. The child, who suffered burns on his left leg and hands, was taken to the hospital for treatment.
On June 13, Friday, around 08:00, Emir Ahmet Ü. (11) went to the market where his friend was located in the Aşkale district of Erzurum.
HIS FRIEND POURED COLONY ON HIS LEG AND SET IT ON FIRE
While he was drinking the beverage he bought, his friend poured colony on his left leg. According to the allegation, the child then set the colony on fire with a lighter. Emir, who was suddenly engulfed in flames, panicked and ran to the basement of the market. Emir Ahmet Ü. tried to extinguish the flames by himself here.

However, the flames quickly spread all over his body. At that moment, the child's uncle, who was in the market, extinguished the flames by pouring a bucket of water on Emir.
"I SHOUTED 'WATER'"
Emir Ahmet Ü., who suffered burns on his left leg and hands, was taken to the Burn Center of Erzurum City Hospital for treatment. Emir, whose treatment is ongoing, described his experience as follows:
"In the morning, I went to the market with my friend. While I was getting a drink, my friend said, 'I poured colony on your leg.' When I turned around, I realized I was on fire. When my clothes caught fire, I was suddenly surrounded by flames. I went to the basement of the market and tried to extinguish myself by throwing myself on cardboard boxes, but I couldn't succeed. While trying to extinguish the flames with my hands, I burned my hands as well. I shouted 'Water.' The uncle of the friend who burned me came and intervened by pouring a bucket of water on me. I was brought to the hospital by ambulance. I have been in the hospital for 20 days. I want to recover as soon as possible and leave the hospital."
