The Presidency of Religious Affairs criticized the Manifest group, which is under investigation for their attire at a concert, without naming them in the Friday sermon. The sermon stated, "The paths leading to fornication, which undermine modesty and shame and corrupt generations and society, should not be legitimized; nudity and exhibitionism should not be presented as a part of life."

The Friday sermon of the General Directorate of Religious Affairs was published under the title "Our Prophet and Family Ethics".

FAMILY, THE FOUNDATION OF SOCIETY

In the sermon, it was stated that "The guarantee of a peaceful society is a strong and solid family. The family is a house of happiness and affection established by a man and a woman who have no religious obstacles to marriage." It was emphasized that the family is a unique institution where faith and identity are shaped, and national and spiritual values are passed on to future generations.

OUR PROPHET'S FAMILY ETHICS

The sermon expressed that the beauties of family ethics are learned from our Prophet (peace be upon him). The gentle, elegant, and non-offensive attitudes of Prophet Muhammad towards his family were exemplified. His expressions of love for his wife Hz. Khadijah and the hadiths that consider sacrifices made for the family as acts of worship were highlighted.

WARNING AGAINST DISTANCE FROM MORAL VALUES

It was noted that distancing from the moral values presented by the Quran and Sunnah brings unrest to families. It was pointed out that current forces targeting the family are trying to weaken the roles of women and men.

CRITICISM OF DEVIANCE AND UNMARRIED COHABITATION

It was stated that the deviations prohibited by Islam are being attempted to be legitimized under the name of civil unions, and that unmarried relationships are being normalized while marriage is portrayed as a burden. However, it was emphasized that marriage is a command of Allah, a Sunnah of the Prophet, and essential for the continuation of lineage.

"DEFORMED RELATIONSHIPS AND DIVORCES SHOULD NOT BE NORMALIZED"

The sermon reminded that the paths leading to adultery should not be legitimized. It was expressed that the normalization of nudity, alcohol, gambling, and substance addiction corrupts society. "Deformed relationships and divorces should not be portrayed as ordinary, and anger and violence should not be seen as normal," it was stated.

FAMILY UNDER GLOBAL THREAT

It was emphasized that the family structure is under siege by global lobbies and interest groups like never before in history. It was stated that these malicious entities aim to weaken family ties and leave generations without identity.

PROTECTING THE FAMILY IS A RELIGIOUS AND HUMAN RESPONSIBILITY

It was noted that protecting and strengthening the family is not only an individual responsibility but also a religious, moral, and humanitarian duty. It was stated that the limits of halal and haram set by Allah should be observed in family life, and the ethics of our Prophet should be taken as an example.

COMMUNICATION AND RESPONSIBILITIES WITHIN THE FAMILY

The sermon emphasized the importance of communication within the family, stating that the time wasted in front of the television and phone should be dedicated to spending quality time with the family. It was expressed that children should be raised with love and attention, and should not be deprived of the warmth of the family.

THE SERMON ENDED WITH A PRAYER

The sermon concluded with a prayer from our Prophet:

"O Allah, the Lord of all things! Make me and my family among those who are sincerely devoted to You at every moment in this world and the hereafter."

WHAT HAPPENED?

An investigation was launched against the members of the Manifest group for allegedly committing the crimes of 'indecent acts' and 'exhibitionism' due to footage during a concert.

After their statements at the duty magistrate, judicial control and a travel ban were imposed on the group members.

The group, consisting of 6 young women, had to cancel all their concerts in Turkey following these developments.
