A village from Turkey has made it to Forbes' list of "the 50 most beautiful villages in the world." Ortahisar Village, located in the Ürgüp district of Nevşehir, ranked 40th on the list.
Forbes announced the list of "the 50 most beautiful villages in the world." Villages from a variety of countries such as England, Austria, Norway, Myanmar, Indonesia, and Libya made it to the list.
ORTAHİSAR WAS RANKED 40TH AMONG THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VILLAGES IN THE WORLD
The first place on the list went to "Bibury Village" from England. Ortahisar Village, located in the Ürgüp district of Nevşehir, ranked 40th on the list.
"LIKE A MONUMENT THROWN BY CAPPADOCIA"
Travel experts provided the following information about Ortahisar: "Under a basalt sky adorned with apricot and ash-colored stripes, Ortahisar rises like a monument that has been thrown from the Cappadocia soil. It winds past stone streets, apricot stalls, and rose-scented tea gardens shaded by fig trees. The locals share stories while drinking tea from tulip-shaped glasses. Meanwhile, sunrise balloons silently glide over the surreal pointed rocks of Hallacdere Valley. Be sure to visit the Ethnography Museum."
