In the investigation against FETÖ, a person named İshak Uysal was captured in Istanbul while he had been wanted for 7 years by ROKETSAN. It was stated that Uysal was conducting critical activities for the organization and directing other FETÖ members to ASELSAN.
Within the scope of the investigation against the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization-Parallel State Structure (FETÖ-PDY), Ishak Uysal, the organization's 'regional', 'institutional', and so-called 'conversation' responsible, was captured in Istanbul, primarily at ROKETSAN. It has been revealed that Uysal, who had been wanted for 7 years, infiltrated ROKETSAN and directed the organization members under his command to ASELSAN.
According to the information obtained, another critical figure of the FETÖ-PDY organization has been uncovered in the ongoing investigations. A new operation was carried out by the Istanbul Police Department's Counter-Terrorism Branch and Intelligence Branch against the organization's fugitive members. It was learned that the suspect named Ishak Uysal, who infiltrated ROKETSAN, one of the distinguished institutions of the Turkish defense industry known for its wide range of guided and unguided rockets and missiles such as Bora, Tayfun, Atmaca, Cirit, UMTAS, and OMTAS, was in Istanbul.
INFILTRATIONS IN CRITICAL INSTITUTIONS
The trace of the cell leader, who has been wanted for 7 years under 2 different cases for the crime of "Being a Member of an Armed Terrorist Organization," was found in Arnavutköy by the Istanbul 1st Criminal Court of Peace and Ankara 29th Heavy Penal Court. Security and intelligence units captured Uysal, who was determined to have used the organization's secret communication system called Bylock and had been on the run for 7 years using multiple code names, in a house registered under someone else's name with a fake identity. Uysal, who was taken to the Counter-Terrorism Branch for questioning, was found to have engaged in secret activities such as "conversation responsible," "regional responsible," and "institutional responsible," and held positions such as Deputy Director responsible for ROKETSAN and "graduate responsible" who arranged jobs for university graduates. It was learned that Uysal directed organization members working at ROKETSAN to another FETÖ member A.K.Ş. working at ASELSAN, loaded the secret communication system ByLock program onto the phones of organization members of critical importance, and collected mandatory money from these individuals under the name of "himmet." Uysal's name appeared in the confessions of 14 FETÖ suspects.
