The decapitated body of a woman found in a trash container in Şişli has officially shocked Istanbul. The individuals identified as Dılshod Akhrol Uglı Turdımurotov (31) and Gofurjon Akmalkhonovıch Kamalkhodaev (29), who were determined to have killed the young woman, were caught at the airport while attempting to flee to Georgia. During the interrogations conducted on the suspects, Turdımurotov confessed that he had a romantic relationship with the victim and that the incident occurred as a result of an argument.

Significant developments continue to emerge regarding the case of the woman’s body found decapitated in a trash container in Şişli.

The incident occurred around 8:00 PM yesterday in Kuyulubağ Street, Duatepe Neighborhood, Şişli. According to the information obtained, Okan Ç., who was searching for materials in the trash, felt a warmth in his hand while looking for items and, upon opening a black bag found in the trash, encountered the decapitated body of a woman.

IDENTITY OF THE BODY HAS BEEN DETERMINED

Upon notification, a large number of police and crime scene investigation teams were dispatched to the scene, and a comprehensive operation was initiated in the area. After intense work by the teams, it was determined through fingerprint analysis that the lifeless body belonged to 36-year-old Durdona Khakımova, a citizen of Uzbekistan. During the ongoing investigations, evidence believed to belong to the lifeless body was found in two suitcases next to a trash container located two streets away from the spot where the body was discovered on Bozkurt Street. The evidence found on the street was placed in the crime scene investigation vehicle.

CAUGHT WHILE TRYING TO FLEE ABROAD

While the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office initiated an investigation into the incident, security camera footage from the crime scene and its surroundings was examined one by one. As part of the efforts conducted by the Intelligence and Public Order branches, it was revealed that two male individuals approached the containers with a suitcase and exhibited suspicious behavior. The suspects, identified as Dılshod Akhrol Uglı Turdımurotov (31) and Gofurjon Akmalkhonovıch Kamalkhodaev (29), were detained at Istanbul Airport while attempting to flee to Georgia.

CONFESSED TO THE MURDER

During the interrogations of the suspects, Turdımurotov confessed that he had a romantic relationship with the victim Durdona Khakımova and that he committed the act as a result of a dispute that arose.

While the teams affiliated with the Istanbul Police Department continued their work regarding the incident, Ekrem K. (58), who was considered to be potentially connected to the case and the apprehended individuals, was also detained. With this, the number of individuals captured rose to three.
