In Ankara, following a social media post regarding a wedding convoy that did not give way to an ambulance on the Konya road towards Aşti, teams took action.
49 THOUSAND TL FINE FOR EACH DRIVER
As a result of the work carried out by the teams, the vehicles were identified and the drivers were also determined. The caught drivers were fined 49,810 TL for the offenses of 'driving without a license', 'driving without inspection', 'blocking and slowing down traffic', and 'driving disrespectfully'.
In a statement regarding the incidents at the Ankara Governorship, it was stated, "In a post made from the social media account of the Ankara Governorship, it was shared that 'a wedding convoy that did not give way to an ambulance around 13:05 on the Konya Road towards Aşti' was identified as violating traffic rules, and the vehicles were caught by our traffic teams. As a result of the inspections and controls, the drivers of the vehicles involved in the incident were fined 49,810 TL for 'Driving Without a License', 'Driving Without Inspection', 'Blocking and Slowing Down Traffic', and 'Driving Disrespectfully'."
3 VEHICLES BANNED FROM TRAFFIC
The governorship stated that 3 vehicles were also banned from traffic, using the following expressions: "Additionally, the individuals in question have been referred to the Çankaya Şehit Mustafa Düzgün Police Station for legal action for endangering traffic safety, and 3 of the vehicles belonging to these individuals have been banned from traffic."
