A citizen who took their 2020 model vehicle for a major service reacted to the 200,000 TL bill issued by the authorized service. The citizen, who had the maintenance done for 60,000 TL at a local garage, expressed their outrage by saying, "This pricing policy is unacceptable; what the service did is very shameful."
A citizen who went to the authorized service for the heavy maintenance of their 2020 model Ford Fiesta, which has 110,000 kilometers, stated that they were presented with a bill of 200,000 TL for the necessary procedures, from the timing belt to the brake pads.
The citizen shared their experience, saying, "I want to share a car service scandal with you. I drive a 2020 model Ford Fiesta. I took it for maintenance at 110,000 kilometers. They said the fibers of your timing belt have broken, your oil filter is clogged. Your brake pads are worn out. And we will also perform a regular maintenance. They said what we will do starts from 200,000. When I reacted, they said that the actual price was 260,000, but since I was an old customer, they would do it for 200,000. I took the car out of there and took it to a friend’s brother. He said, 'I can handle it for 60,000'."
"UNACCEPTABLE"
The citizen, who reacted strongly to the high pricing policy, stated, "What do the service centers think of themselves? This is shameful, it is unacceptable," he expressed.
