In the İskenderun district of Hatay, a man involved in a fight where a woman was killed with a shotgun attempted to run over his rival in the middle of the street with his vehicle. The incident, captured by security cameras, shows the man driving his vehicle towards his rival, who was thrown off balance and fell to the ground as he tried to escape. The suspect has been arrested and sent to prison.
On December 1st, in the Buluttepe neighborhood of İskenderun district in Hatay, an individual named M.Ç. went to the street where his rival V.Ş. lived with his light commercial vehicle. M.Ç. drove his vehicle towards V.Ş., who was walking on the street.
ATTEMPTED TO KILL HIS RIVAL BY RUNNING HIM OVER
V.Ş., who tried to escape, was knocked down and fell to the ground after being hit by the vehicle. M.Ç. fled the scene after the incident. The moments were captured by a security camera. Health teams dispatched to the scene upon the notification of the surrounding people provided first aid to V.Ş. and then took him to the hospital by ambulance.
INVOLVED IN A FATAL FIGHT
Teams from the İskenderun District Police Department, which initiated an investigation into the incident, detained M.Ç. It was revealed that M.Ç. and V.Ş. were among the parties involved in the incident on September 28th, where Leyla Şahin was killed with a shotgun during a fight that broke out among neighbors in the same neighborhood. It was reported that 5 suspects detained after the fight were arrested, while V.Ş. and M.Ç. were released under judicial control.
ARRESTED
After his procedures at the police station, M.Ç. was referred to the courthouse for the charge of 'attempted murder' and was arrested by the court.
