The cost of the giant choreography performed by Fenerbahçe in Kadıköy before the Galatasaray derby has been announced as 3 million TL. The majority of the organization was prepared voluntarily by the fans and the communication team.
PREPARATION PROCESS STARTED WITH SARAN'S INSTRUCTION
The details of the giant choreography carried out in collaboration between Fenerbahçe Club and the yellow-navy blue fans have become clear. According to Hürriyet's news, the person who initiated the process was President Sadettin Saran. Following Saran's instruction, "I want a special choreography that reflects the spirit of Fenerbahçe," the club's communication team and the fan groups entered a comprehensive planning process.
TOTAL COST: 3 MILLION TL
The total cost of the choreography that marked the derby night, including light shows, was determined to be 3 million TL. However, the striking detail is that both the light team and the fan groups who prepared and painted the banners did not request any payment from Fenerbahçe. The majority of the organization was carried out on a voluntary basis.
SPECIAL MUSIC COMPOSED
The first work prepared for the choreography was:
- "When darkness falls, a lantern lights up the night"
the transformation of these lyrics into a special song. The music played in the stadium on derby night was completely composed by Fenerbahçe's communicators and fans.
THREE DIFFERENT THEMES IN THREE STANDS
Before the match, different themes were presented in three main stands:
Northern Stand
- "Our history is filled with epics, championship suits you Fenerbahçe"
Marathon Stand
- "Bring us to the streets"
Spor Toto Stand
- "In the past, a glorious jersey, became a legacy for tomorrow"
In this stand, giant visuals featuring Lefter, Tedesco, and current players were also displayed.
PREPARED WITH THE COLLABORATION OF FANS
The giant visuals, banners, and the specially composed music played simultaneously were the result of the great effort of the yellow-navy blue fans. While the choreography made a significant impact on derby night, it received great appreciation in the stands and on social media.
