The defendant, who was caught with drugs on a motorcycle stopped on suspicion in the Tosya district of Kastamonu, stated in his defense before the judge that he used drugs because it helped alleviate his pain.
U.K., who was found with drugs on his motorcycle in the Tosya district of Kastamonu, presented an unbelievable excuse in his statement to the court.
WHAT WAS FOUND ON HIM AND AT HIS HOME SHOCKED EVERYONE
The incident occurred on October 7, 2025, in the Tosya district. According to the information obtained, a search was conducted on U.K., who was stopped by the Tosya District Police Department teams on suspicion, and on the motorcycle he was using. During the searches, 16.81 grams and 0.66 grams of a substance believed to be synthetic cannabinoid were seized. Following this, a search conducted at U.K.'s residence resulted in the seizure of 138 grams of amphetamine pressed tobacco, 120.79 grams of synthetic cannabinoid, one potted cannabis plant, 37 shotgun cartridges, one blank-firing pistol, and 10 blank-firing pistol cartridges.
HE WAS DETAINED AND ARRESTED
After the incident, U.K. was detained by the police teams and arrested, and a case was opened against him at the Kastamonu Heavy Penal Court for the crime of "trafficking or supplying drugs or stimulants." In the first hearing of the case, the defendant U.K. and his lawyer were present.
"I USE DRUGS TO EASE MY PAINS"
In his defense, U.K. stated, "I have been using drugs for two years. I have health issues. I have used prescription pills before, but they did not help with my pains. I use drugs to ease my pains. The drugs found on me belong to me, but the drugs found during the search at my residence do not belong to me. I had obtained the drugs from M.K. the day before I was caught. M.K. asked me for a loan of 15 thousand lira. Since I did not have it, I asked a relative. I said, 'I can give it to you if you return the money to me,' and he said, 'I will.' About two days later, he said, 'Let's go to your vineyard house.' M.K. brought the drugs to the vineyard house and put them in my cupboard. He said, 'I will take it when I pay the 15 thousand lira.' The part found on me is what he gave me and belongs to me. The drugs found at the vineyard house belong to M.K. I think M.K. has complained about me. I did not commit the crime of trafficking; I am a user. I am very regretful, and I request my release," he said.
The court panel decided to continue the defendant's detention and postponed the hearing to a later date.
