In the evaluations made, it is stated that in some fields, the need for teachers is at a minimum level, while in some fields, the number of candidates graduating from programs that currently provide resources for teaching is above the current and near-term needs.
On the other hand, following the coup attempt carried out by the Fethullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) on July 15, 2016, the expulsion of a large number of personnel from the Ministry of National Education within the scope of the investigations conducted affected the Ministry's employment planning. The Ministry has carried out studies to ensure that educational services are not disrupted and to ensure personnel safety. In the fight against FETO, a total of 27 thousand 732 personnel from the Ministry and its affiliated and related units were expelled through statutory decrees (KHK) and subsequently through the State of Emergency Commission.
