The fact that 16-year-old Elvan Yücetaş has been missing for 11 days in Adıyaman has plunged her family into worry. As efforts launched to find the young girl continue, her family is waiting for good news.

"I'M GOING TO THE MARKET," SHE SAID, AND NEVER RETURNED

Elvan Yücetaş, who lives near 2194 Street in Yeşilyurt Neighborhood in central Adıyaman, left home on the morning of September 28 to go to the market. However, the young girl did not return home despite the hours that passed. When the Yücetaş family, who tried to reach their daughter in the afternoon, could not get any result from phone calls either, they filed a missing person report with the 112 Emergency Call Center. Following the report, search efforts were launched to find 16-year-old Elvan.

FAMILY SUSPECTS SHE MAY HAVE BEEN ABDUCTED

No news has been received from Elvan, one of the four children of Yıldız and Abdurrahman Yücetaş, since the date she left home. The fact that the young girl's phone is also unreachable increased her family's worry. The mother and father, stating that their daughter had never behaved in such a way before, said they suspected Elvan may have been abducted. However, there is no verified information indicating that the young girl was abducted. The family, who have been waiting for news from their daughter for days, hopes that the search efforts will yield results and that they will be reunited with Elvan safe and sound.

THEY CALLED FOR HELP IN TEARS

The Yücetaş family, expressing that they fear for their daughter's life, appealed to authorities and citizens. The grieving family said, "We want our daughter to be found as soon as possible. For 11 days we do not know where our daughter is. For God's sake, help us. We want those who see our daughter, those who know her location, to report it to the 112 Emergency Call Center. We fear for our daughter's life. We think our daughter has been abducted. We expect help from everyone; we want to be reunited with our daughter as soon as possible."
