A remarkable operation was carried out in the bribery investigation conducted at the Ondokuz Mayıs University Health Application and Research Center in Samsun. In the operation, 18 people, including doctors, were detained.
SIMULTANEOUS OPERATION CARRIED OUT
Teams from the Provincial Police Department's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch, coordinated by the Samsun Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, launched an investigation into some doctors working at the university hospital.
Investigations alleged that some doctors received bribes through medical companies or directly from patients. Following the findings, police teams carried out a simultaneous operation in the morning hours.
4 DOCTORS IN CUSTODY
In the operation, 18 suspects, including doctors İ.K., Ü.B., M.G.Ö., and H.S.C., were taken into custody.
It was learned that legal proceedings have been initiated against the suspects on charges of "Bribery," "Qualified Fraud," and "Obstruction of the Right to Benefit from Public Services."

While the procedures of the detained suspects at the police station are ongoing, it was reported that the investigation into the incident continues.
