In the İnegöl district of Bursa, 2-year-old Kadir Tohum, who suddenly disappeared while playing in a residential complex and was found motionless in a swimming pool after about an hour of searching, could not be saved at the hospital he was taken to. The anguished mother's cries at the hospital door, saying "Kadir, come out, mom is here," were heart-wrenching.
Two-year-old Kadir Tohum, who went missing while playing in a complex in the İnegöl district of Bursa, was found motionless in the complex's swimming pool after approximately an hour-long search. Despite being rushed to the hospital, the child could not be saved, while the grieving mother's cries of 'Kadir, come out of there, mommy' were heartbreaking.
DISAPPEARED WHILE PLAYING IN THE COMPLEX
The incident occurred around 4:00 PM in a complex located on 197th Street, Akhisar Neighborhood, İnegöl district. Kadir Tohum disappeared while playing in the complex near his home. Upon realizing the child was missing, his family and neighbors mobilized to search the area. After about an hour of anxious searching, Kadir was found motionless in the swimming pool within the complex's common area.
PASSED AWAY AT THE HOSPITAL
Emergency Service Specialist Timur Saraç, residing in the complex, immediately provided first aid to the child retrieved from underwater. Upon notification, 112 Emergency Health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Health teams determined the little child's heart had stopped and performed CPR at the scene. Kadir Tohum, taken to İnegöl State Hospital by ambulance, could not be revived despite all interventions by doctors.
"KADIR, COME OUT OF THERE, MOMMY"
Upon receiving the news of his death, mother Şahade Tohum and father Mehmet Tohum, who rushed to the hospital, suffered nervous breakdowns. Collapsing at the entrance of the hospital's intervention room, mother Şahade Tohum's tearful cries of "Kadir, come out of there, mommy" were heartbreaking. The lifeless body of the little child was sent to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue to determine the exact cause of death after the prosecutor's crime scene investigation.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
