In Egypt's Ras Sadr region, a bus carrying Turkish and Azerbaijani tourists collided with a truck, resulting in injuries to 26 Turkish citizens. It was learned that the condition of the injured is good.
In an accident that occurred when a tour bus carrying Turkish and Azerbaijani tourists collided with a truck in the Ras Sadr region, approximately 205 kilometers from Egypt's capital Cairo, 26 Turkish citizens were injured.
BUS CARRYING TURKISH TOURISTS INVOLVED IN ACCIDENT
In the accident that took place in the morning hours in the Ras Sadr area on the Sharm el-Sheikh-Cairo highway in Egypt, a total of 31 people were injured, including 26 Turkish citizens, 4 Egyptian citizens, and 1 Azerbaijani citizen.
The injured from the accident, which occurred in a tourist convoy of 22 buses traveling from Sharm el-Sheikh to the Giza Pyramids area, were taken to Sharm el-Sheikh International Hospital and Tor Hospital by ambulances after initial treatment.
CONDITION OF INJURED STABLE
It was reported that the health condition of most of the injured Turkish citizens is stable. Turkey's Ambassador to Cairo, Salih Mutlu Şen, stated that the consular support team arrived at the scene after the accident.
Ambassador Şen reportedly spoke with the head of the Egyptian Health Authority, Ahmed el-Sobaky, to ensure the earliest possible necessary treatment for the injured Turkish citizens. During the meeting, Sobaky stated that he is closely monitoring the condition of the injured and that all necessary medical intervention and treatment are being provided to all the injured at the highest level.
Şen conveyed his thanks to the Egyptian health authorities and doctors for their care and attention to the injured Turkish citizens.
