A suspicious object spotted by a citizen swimming off the coast of Datça district in Muğla was determined to be a mine from World War II. After an examination by Coast Guard teams, security measures were taken in the area, and the mine was safely destroyed by expert teams in a controlled explosion.
In the Bağlarözü area of Muğla's Datça district, a citizen swimming noticed a suspicious object on the sea surface and reported the situation to the authorities.
