President Erdoğan and MHP leader Bahçeli met face-to-face after 117 days. In the meeting, which lasted approximately 35 minutes, topics such as the "Terror-Free Turkey" process, constitutional amendments, and the roadmap for the alliance were discussed.

Approximately 117 days later, the first face-to-face contact was established between President Erdoğan and MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli.

"TERROR-FREE TURKEY" PROCESS DISCUSSED

According to a report by Türkiye Gazetesi, the main agenda of the meeting was the 'process' referred to as 'Terror-Free Turkey', while it was claimed that steps to be taken within the scope of the 'new process', as well as the PKK terrorist organization's self-dissolution and the counter-terrorism operations in Syria and Iraq, were discussed.

35-MINUTE MEETING

During the meeting, which lasted approximately 35 minutes, Turkey's position in foreign policy and relations with the new US administration, current issues in the TRNC, and the new constitution studies were also addressed.

ERDOĞAN'S CANDIDACY CAME TO THE AGENDA AGAIN

It was noted that Bahçeli's previously expressed proposal for a constitutional amendment for President Erdoğan to be able to run again was among the hot topics among coalition partners. It was also reported that Erdoğan and Bahçeli evaluated the operations directed at the İBB.
