President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan described the attack on CHP Chairman Özgür Özel at the AK Party's Central Executive Board meeting as an attack on all politics and condemned it. Emphasizing that politics should not be drawn into a realm of violence, Erdoğan stated, "Those who want to drag politics into a realm of violence should hopefully learn from what has happened. We must not allow politics to be drawn into a realm of violence."
During the recent MYK meeting of the AK Party, the attack on CHP Chairman Özgür Özel was discussed.
According to the information obtained, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan condemned the attack and expressed that they do not approve of such incidents occurring in politics. Erdoğan stated, "This is not an attack directed at an individual, but an attack directed at all of politics. It is not a pleasant situation, it is unacceptable. Those who want to drag politics into a ground of violence should hopefully learn from what has happened. We must not allow politics to be dragged into a ground of violence," he said.

Pointing out the sensitivity of the process after the death of Sırrı Süreyya Önder, Erdoğan said, "Of course, you will be concerned with the politics of this. We believe that our goal of a 'Terror-free Turkey' will be achieved and that Turkey will be freed from this terror plague. This process needs to be carried out with great sensitivity."
