AK Party Izmir Provincial Chairman Bilal Saygılı pinned party badges on 370 people who left the İYİ Party and other political parties to join AK Party during a program organized by the Konak District Presidency.
A ceremony was organized by the AK Party Konak District Presidency for new members joining the party. In the program attended by Konak District President Sait Başdaş, a total of 370 people, including 300 individuals, among whom were 2 former district presidents who previously served as district chairpersons in the İYİ Party along with members of their administrations, and 70 people from other political parties, joined the ranks of the AK Party. The badges for the new members were pinned by AK Party İzmir Provincial President Bilal Saygılı.
Stating that the AK Party family continues to grow in line with the goals of the Century of Türkiye, President Saygılı, in his speech during the program, fully expressed the following: "Today in Konak, 300 people, including 2 former district presidents who previously served as district chairpersons in the İYİ Party along with members of their administrations, and 70 people from other political parties, are leaving their political parties to join our AK Party family as 370 new companions. Today, hundreds of new brothers and sisters are joining our march for the Century of Türkiye as soldiers. I say welcome to all of you, you have brought joy. Welcome to the cause of a rising, strong, and reputable Türkiye. Welcome to the construction of an independent, sovereign, and developing Türkiye. Welcome to always protecting our independence and making our future bright and luminous. We are the cadres who will reunite İzmir with works and services. We are the cadres who will make İzmir the city of pride for the AK Party in the first local elections. We will work together with sincerity, effort, and humility. We have no distinctions. We will be one and united. The opposition, which fights, delays Türkiye with power struggles, and makes its own voters bow their heads with corruption and impudence, is not tolerable for İzmir or our country. With this awareness, I once again welcome all our brothers and sisters who strengthen our internal fortifications under the roof of our AK Party for İzmir and Türkiye. May Allah make our path clear."
