4 more district municipalities in Istanbul have switched to the New Party

After Kadıköy and Maltepe, 4 more district municipalities in Istanbul switched to the New Party. New Party Istanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik announced that Çatalca Mayor Erhan Güzel, Küçükçekmece Mayor Kemal Çebi, Bakırköy Mayor Dr. Ayşegül Ovalıoğlu and Büyükçekmece Acting Mayor Hakan Çebi switched to the New Party.

A new political development has occurred in the municipalities under the umbrella of the Republican People's Party (CHP) in Istanbul. Following the Kadıköy and Maltepe municipalities, 4 more district municipalities in the city joined the New Party.

4 MUNICIPALITIES JOINED THE NEW PARTY

Making the announcement, New Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman Özgür Çelik announced that Çatalca Mayor Erhan Güzel, Küçükçekmece Mayor Kemal Çebi, Bakırköy Mayor Dr. Ayşegül Ovalıoğlu and Büyükçekmece Acting Mayor Hakan Çebi had joined the New Party. Çelik thanked the mayors in question.

With the latest joinings, the number of district municipalities in Istanbul that have joined the New Party has risen to 6. In Istanbul, the first join to the New Party was with Kadıköy Municipality. Kadıköy Mayor Mesut Kösedağı announced last week that he had joined the New Party. Then Maltepe Mayor Esin Köymen also decided to join the New Party.
