In Kırıkkale, a passenger bus belonging to Süha company overturned, resulting in the death of a 92-year-old passenger and injuring 40 people. The accident occurred when the driver lost control of the steering wheel.

41 people were injured when a passenger bus overturned in Kırıkkale. The passenger bus with license plate 38 ADF 410, traveling from Tekirdağ to Kayseri and whose driver's identity could not be learned, lost control and overturned near the Karakeçili State Hospital on the Kaman-Ankara highway.

Upon notification, AFAD, fire department, medical teams, gendarmerie, and police units were dispatched to the scene.

41 INJURED, 3 IN SERIOUS CONDITION  

The injured were taken to hospitals in the city by ambulances. Kırıkkale Governor Hüseyin Engin Sarıibrahim said in a statement to the AA correspondent, "38 passengers, 2 drivers, and 1 assistant, a total of 41 people were injured. The injured were transported from the scene to hospitals. We assess that 3 of our injured are in serious condition. With the morning's first frost, the ground became slippery. It is an accident caused by the slippery road. We see once again that all our passengers must fasten their seat belts on our passenger buses."

KIRIKKALE GOVERNOR INSPECTED THE ACCIDENT SITE

Offering his well-wishes to the passengers, Sarıibrahim reported that the bus driver was taken into custody and that the investigation into the accident continues.
