As a result of inspections carried out in the Siverek district of Şanlıurfa, 50 tons of spoiled and expired chicken meat were seized. The municipal police teams and the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture destroyed the products that posed a threat to public health.

The products of a chicken vendor that the Siverek Municipality's Zoning Department teams had been monitoring for a while were identified in a warehouse. The Zoning Department, along with the Şanlıurfa Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and police teams, raided the warehouse in Dicle Neighborhood and seized 50 tons of spoiled and expired chicken meat.

The municipal teams loaded the seized products onto trucks using construction machinery. After loading, 8 truckloads of spoiled meat were subsequently destroyed. Zoning Director Tarık Kızılkeçi stated that they had been monitoring the warehouse for a long time.

Our teams closely monitored them, and as of today, we identified their warehouse. In the inspections we conducted with the District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, all expired chicken products were detected, and since they broke the cold chain, all products are spoiled.
