In an argument that broke out in a bungalow house in the Kavak district of Samsun, 38-year-old İsmail Yurtseven shot and killed his 50-year-old girlfriend Latife Mengüç and then took his own life. Teams who came to the house after citizens who heard the gunshots reported it determined that two people had lost their lives. While the bodies were taken to the Samsun Forensic Medicine Institute for autopsy, an investigation into the incident was launched.
In an incident that occurred during the night hours in Kavak, a woman who was in her own bungalow house and her lover who came to see her lost their lives. It was claimed that an argument between the two ended in death.
THE ARGUMENT ENDED IN DEATH
At around 02:00 in Değirmencili Neighborhood, Latife Mengüç’s lover, İsmail Yurtseven, came to her own bungalow house. According to the information obtained, an argument broke out between the two. After the argument, it was alleged that Yurtseven shot Mengüç with a handgun and then took his own life.
REPORT AFTER GUNSHOTS
Citizens who heard the gunshots reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, medical and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area. Teams arriving at the house determined that Latife Mengüç and İsmail Yurtseven had lost their lives.
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED
Following the prosecutor's examinations at the scene, the bodies of the two people were taken to the Samsun Forensic Medicine Institute Group Presidency for autopsy. An investigation was launched regarding the incident.
