BBX Baby Kids Textile, which has been producing with 2 factories in Bursa since 1965 and exporting to 24 countries, has officially gone bankrupt. The Bursa 2nd Civil Court of First Instance issued a liquidation decision for the 61-year-old established company, which could not escape its debt quagmire during the 3-month provisional concordat period granted to rectify its financial structure.

The concordat process of the half-century-old giant company, which could not improve its financial structure, ended negatively.
A well-established company in Bursa, one of the capitals of Turkey's textile sector, has been caught in the wheel of the economic crisis once again. The financial troubles of BBX Baby Kids Textile, founded in 1965, exporting to 24 countries around the world as well as the Turkish market, and housing two giant production facilities, were concluded with a court decision.
CONCORDAT DEADLINE WAS NOT ENOUGH EITHER
Following the deterioration in the company's financial structure, an application had previously been made to the court, and a 3-month temporary concordat period was granted to the company to restructure its debts. However, in the examinations conducted by the appointed commissioners and the court panel, it was determined that despite the granted period, the company's economic situation had not improved, the financial picture could not be corrected, and the state of being insolvent continued.
COURT PRESSED THE BANKRUPTCY BUTTON
The Bursa 2nd Commercial Court of First Instance examined the latest situation of the giant company in a critical hearing held on August 19, 2026. The court panel ruled that the company was insolvent and could not meet the conditions of concordat, and officially decided on the bankruptcy of BBX Baby Kids Textile. With this decision, the liquidation process of the 61-year-old textile giant was initiated.
