STATEMENT PROCEDURES OF 8 SUSPECTS COMPLETED
The procedures of 8 suspects detained within the scope of the investigation carried out by the İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office at the Provincial Police Department's Financial Crimes Branch have been completed.
One of the suspects, S.Y., was released after his statement due to health issues.
Seferihisar Deputy Mayor İ.G.P, wife of Güzelbahçe Mayor Mustafa Günay, Nermin Günay, construction company officials S.B. and R.K.B, public official Ö.A., company official R.Ö., and company employee M.C.H. were referred to the courthouse.
INVESTIGATION
In the investigation into certain individuals and organizations linked to Seferihisar Municipality obtaining benefits in exchange for transactions related to construction and zoning processes, 6 suspects, including Seferihisar Deputy Mayor İ.G.P, were detained on June 17.
Nermin Günay, wife of previously arrested and suspended Güzelbahçe Mayor Mustafa Günay, who is alleged to have ties to the suspects, and company employee M.C.H. were apprehended yesterday.
