Detained Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcan resigned from CHP

Following Cemil Tuğay, the Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, the arrested Mayor of Bolu, Tanju Özcan, also resigned from CHP. In his letter, Özcan stated, "I embrace with longing all my comrades who never left me alone in the 6 elections we won together. I have not made a mistake that would make them bow their heads or redden their eyes. Therefore, I ask for forgiveness from everyone and share that I am leaving my father's house under occupation in tears."
