A 13-year-old individual in Kayseri, who was found to have made a false 'suicide bomber' report from a payphone at a shopping mall, was apprehended by police teams.

In Kayseri, 13-year-old M.B.T. was caught by police after making a false 'suicide bomber' report from a payphone in a mall. Extensive security measures were taken after the incident.

SUICIDE BOMBER REPORT TO THE MALL

The incident occurred around 4:00 PM at a mall in the Melikgazi district. Upon a report via a payphone that a suicide bomber suspect was present in the mall, police, fire department, AFAD, and health teams were dispatched to the area. Following checks and searches conducted by Intelligence, Anti-Terror, and Public Order Branch Directorate teams in and around the mall, no negative situation was encountered.

LITTLE CHILD TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

As a result of camera reviews and environmental investigations, it was determined that the person who made the report was 13-year-old M.B.T. M.B.T., apprehended by police, was taken to the Children's Branch Directorate. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
