In Manisa, a close friend who attended the funeral of Yakup Kadri Gülsoy, a retired Branch Manager from the Manisa Provincial Directorate of National Education who died of a heart attack, collapsed on the ground after suffering a heart attack. Following the intervention of 112 personnel at the scene, the elderly man was taken to the hospital.
Mehmet Gündüz, a friend of retired branch manager Yakup Kadri Gülsoy, who attended his funeral in Manisa, collapsed due to a heart attack. It was reported that Gündüz was taken to the hospital by 112 emergency teams and is in intensive care.
HEAVY ATTENDANCE AT THE FUNERAL
Yakup Kadri Gülsoy, who retired as a Branch Manager from the Manisa Provincial Directorate of National Education, passed away as a result of a heart attack. Yakup Kadri Gülsoy's funeral was brought to Hatuniye Mosque. The deceased's sons Gökhan and Kürşat Gülsoy, and his grandson Oğuz Kaan Gülsoy, received condolences in the courtyard of the mosque.
Attending the funeral were Manisa Governor Vahdettin Özkan, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Brigadier General İlhan Şen, Deputy Governor Mustafa Harputlu, Provincial Director of National Education Mehmet Uğurelli, Şehzadeler District Director of National Education Metin Gencay, Yunusemre District Director of National Education Yıldıray Demirtaş, MHP Manisa Provincial Chairman Cüneyt Tosuner, representatives of the education community, and many citizens.
After the funeral prayer performed following the noon prayer, Yakup Kadri Gülsoy was sent off on his final journey amid tears at Kırtık Cemetery.
HE CAME TO THE FUNERAL, SUFFERED A HEART ATTACK
The incident that occurred during the funeral caused great sorrow. Retired educator Mehmet Gündüz (68), who reportedly worked together with the late Yakup Kadri Gülsoy in Saruhanlı, collapsed shortly after coming out of a public toilet near the mosque.
Upon notification by citizens, medical teams were directed to the scene, and a 112 emergency health worker attending the funeral performed first aid. Mehmet Gündüz, determined to have had a heart attack, was taken to Manisa City Hospital by ambulance after CPR at the scene. It was reported that Gündüz is in intensive care.
