After leaving home in Sultangazi, Istanbul, the family of a 14-year-old girl who did not return began searching for their child, going from street to street. The family went to the home of the person they learned was with their daughter and, alleging that their child had been harassed, got into a physical fight with the suspect's family. The girl, who was taken to the police station for questioning, denied her family's allegations of harassment.
A 14-year-old girl, Z.V., who left her home in the Malkoçoğlu neighborhood of Sultangazi, Istanbul, in the evening hours, did not return, prompting her family to start searching the neighborhood.
RELATIVES ATTACKED FRIEND'S FAMILY WITH 'HARASSMENT' ALLEGATION
Upon learning that the young girl was seen with a boy, the family claimed that their daughter had been harassed and went to the suspect's house to argue with his family. The argument quickly escalated into a physical fight. Police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification.
DENIED THE ALLEGATIONS
The police, who intervened in the fight between the parties, took Z.V. to the police station for her statement. Z.V. denied the allegations, stating that she had not been harassed.
TRANSFERRED TO THE COURT
The male friend who was detained was transferred to the courthouse after the procedures at the police station.
