Mustafa Yağız Edik (16) was stabbed to death by his peer R.M. (16) during an argument in Aksaray. The incident occurred around 04:00 in Şehit Mehmet Ali Demir Street, Büyük Bölcek Neighborhood. The argument that broke out between R.M. and Mustafa Yağız Edik for an unknown reason quickly escalated into a fight. During the fight, R.M. stabbed Edik in the chest. While Edik collapsed to the ground in a pool of blood, R.M. fled the scene. Upon notification from bystanders, police and medical teams were dispatched to the address.
2 KNIVES FOUND AT THE SCENE
Mustafa Yağız Edik, who was taken to Aksaray Training and Research Hospital by ambulance, could not be saved despite all the doctors' interventions. R.M. was caught and detained in the same neighborhood, while 2 knives were found during the investigation at the scene.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
