In the Kulu district of Konya, a father who did not notice his 20-day-old baby sleeping in the minibus's shade caused the baby to be run over and killed when he moved the vehicle. Following the incident, the baby's parents were taken into custody.
A foreign national family working as agricultural workers in the Bozan neighborhood of Konya's Kulu district went to the field, taking their 20-day-old baby boy with them.
MOTHER PLACED HIM IN THE SHADE OF THE MINIBUS, FATHER DID NOT NOTICE AND RAN HIM OVER
The mother placed the baby in the shade of a parked minibus to protect him from the sun. When the father, Y. E., who did not notice the baby, moved the minibus, the 20-day-old infant was run over by the wheel. The family brought the baby to Kulu State Hospital on their own. Despite all interventions by the doctors, the baby could not be saved.
BOTH ARE IN CUSTODY
The baby's mother and father were taken into custody after the incident.
