The hostage crisis that began yesterday in Bursa was resolved after 24 hours. The suspect, who set fire to a house in İnegöl, then returned to his own home and took his two children hostage. The individual named Hüseyin G., who was persuaded for more than 24 hours by the teams that arrived at the scene to surrender, eventually gave up and was taken into custody.

The suspect, Hüseyin G, who allegedly set fire to a building in the Orhaniye neighborhood yesterday, did not leave his home in the Alibeyköy neighborhood, resisting security forces with a knife.
CHILDREN CAME OUT WITH THEIR FATHER
During the negotiations with the suspect, who did not respond to the persuasion efforts of the police and gendarmerie teams, one of his children and his father came out of the house. It was learned that the grandfather and the children informed the security forces that they were staying with Hüseyin G. for support and that there was no hostage situation.
SURRENDERED AFTER 24 HOURS
After more than 24 hours of efforts by the teams, negotiations continued. In the incident where İnegöl Gendarmerie Commander Captain Harun Nazlı acted as a negotiator, Hüseyin G. surrendered. The suspect and his 16-year-old son, who were taken into custody, were brought to the İnegöl District Gendarmerie Command for processing.
