"THEY WERE BEATING MY SON, THE CONTRACTOR BROUGHT A BUNCH OF PEOPLE"
Behiye İçkili, who was seen sitting alone in her wall-less home, said, "This incident happened 2 days ago. My son can't stand by me because they were about to beat him today. The contractor brought a bunch of people. I sat down in anger and watched the work. They don't say anything, as soon as we raise our voices, we are immediately guilty. No one is guilty; you demolished this place, you have to rebuild it. They said, 'We are not doing it.' My two armchairs and a double bed were left among the rubble. They don't even compensate for those. I am calling out to the authorities; I want my wall to be built. They need to do it because my son is not in a position to help, we are living on my husband's salary," she said.
