The lifeless body of Onur Doker, who had been missing for 10 days in Antalya, was found at his home. The heartbreaking words of his grieving mother, who came from Kayseri, "My fire has gone out, my heart has burned for the second time. I am devastated," pierced the heart.
A person who came from Kayseri to Antalya and had not been reachable by his mother for about 10 days was found dead in his home.
The incident occurred at 10:00 AM in the 2nd floor of a three-story apartment in the Kuzeyyaka neighborhood of the Kepez district. Fatma B., the mother of Onur Doker (37), who had come to Antalya from his hometown Kayseri 10 days ago and settled in his home here, arrived in Antalya late at night after not hearing from her son. When the mother arrived at her son's house and could not open the door, she called the 112 Emergency Call Center, stating that she had not been able to reach her son for 10 days and that the door would not open, asking for help. Upon the notification, police, fire, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene, and police teams, who entered the apartment through the balcony with the help of a ladder, found the young man lying on the floor.
TEAMS STRUGGLED TO WORK DUE TO THE SMELL
It was determined that Doker had passed away more than a week ago, and the teams struggled to work due to the intense smell. The Crime Scene Investigation and homicide bureau teams, who conducted an examination inside the apartment, wore masks during their investigations.
"MY FIRE HAS EXTINGUISHED, MY LUNG HAS BURNED FOR THE SECOND TIME"
As she could not reach her son, the mother, who came from Kayseri to Antalya and watched the police teams' work outside with tears in her eyes, said to her relatives over the phone, "My Onur is gone, my son is gone. My fire has extinguished, my lung has burned for the second time. I am devastated," which broke hearts.
After the teams' examination, Doker's lifeless body was taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for the determination of the exact cause of death.
