In Malatya, 57-year-old Soner Akçadağ died while lying on a bed to rest at a friend's house. Health teams confirmed Akçadağ's death after finding him motionless, and his body was taken to the forensic medicine institute to determine the exact cause of death. Police, who launched an investigation into the death of Akçadağ, who was known to have a heart condition, also found two alcoholic beverage cans in a trash container near the scene.

The incident occurred in the evening hours on Irmak Street in the Başharık neighborhood of Battalgazi district. According to allegations, Soner Akçadağ went to the apartment where his friend lived. After spending some time there, Akçadağ lay down on the bed to rest.
